ZorvWarz was created over the course of about 1-2 months as a submission for the 2013 TechUme AppJam. We enjoy programming and had a lot of fun creating this game. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we did making it. ZorvWarz is a free and open source 2D scrolling arcade shooter; blast your way through hordes of aliens (Zorvs) in randomly generated levels, either by yourself or with a friend. It is written in C++ and uses SFML for graphics and audio. Scroll down for screenshots!
How to Play
Controls are WASD. Use the mouse to aim the flashlight and shoot. In the main menu, “Multi-Player” will host a multiplayer game that a friend can connect to provided they have your IP address. “Join” will allow you to join a multiplayer game. “Play” will allow you to play the game by yourself in single-player. Pressing escape during the game will end it if you are in singleplayer or on the host machine.
